Sometimes, I really wish this motherhood business was a paying gig! Watching the local news last night, I was fascinated by one particular story about the financial “worth” of stay-at-home-mom’s. Between chauffeuring, cleaning, cooking, teaching and the seemingly countless other tasks motherhood entails, experts estimate that the average yearly salary for a full-time mother (if it was indeed a paying job) would be somewhere around $148,000 CAD per year…a salary comparable to a top-paid Advertising Executive, Marketing Director or a Judge!
Holy Cow…that kind of extra cash sure would come in handy!
